Cooperative Metal Catalysis for Efficient Organic Synthesis
We envision that the power of metal catalysis can be further enhanced by designing cooperative systems composed of two or more different metal complexes. We demonstrate that several novel C–C and C–heteroatom bond-forming reactions can be achieved through doubly activating cooperative metal catalysis. Representative examples include site-selective hydro(hetero)arylation, C–H borylation, C–F and C–O functionalization reactions.
