The Department of Chemistry at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) invites candidates for a tenured or tenure-track position at the Full/Associate/Assistant Professor level in fields of Inorganic Chemistry, Materials Chemistry and Physical Chemistry (1~2 positions in each area), starting on a mutually agreed-upon date (Year-round Position). POSTECH is devoted to advancing technology for the betterment of humanity and is actively seeking candidates who share this vision.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field by the start of employment. Faculty duties include developing and teaching chemistry courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in English.

Each application must include a curriculum vitae (including a photo and the names and addresses of three or more references), a list of five selected publications, research proposals (3-4 pages), a statement of teaching philosophy, and an itemized statement for the start-up fund request.
