The Department of Chemistry at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) invites candidates for a tenured or tenure-track position at the Full/Associate/Assistant Professor level in the general area of Inorganic Chemistry/ Materials and Energy-related Chemisty, starting on a mutually agreed date after Feb, 2025. POSTECH is devoted to leading advancement in technology for the betterment of humanity and actively seeking candidates who share this vision.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field by the start of employment. Faculty duties include developing and teaching chemistry courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in English.

Each application must include: a curriculum vitae (including a photo and the names and addresses of three or more references); a list of five selected publications; research proposals (3-4 pages); a statement of teaching philosophy; and an itemized statement for the start-up fund request.
